I recently got the Amnesia game, and I don't know what Custom Stories to download.

Just tell me your personal favourite and I'll check it out

You should check out La Caza. It does not go out of its way to introduce cheap scares, and instead, it challenges your sanity, introducing several new ways to creep you out.

There are also a good few amazing and serious/immersive custom stories that you should try out, so I recommend just browsing through the list and try those that sound appealing to you. Enjoy!

Followed by Death and Deterioration.

I recommend "The Great Work." It stands out in that the story is what's going on and unfolding in the player's present experience, and not surrounding some incident from years ago that you're given to play detective on. I also second Corinthian's suggestions.

Obscurity is a great one. Really good atmosphere, and one of the very few that actually made me jump.

If you want something silly but also respectable, go for Dark Room.

My favourite has to be White Night. I love modern custom stories.

So far I've played only a few, but the best was Amnesia Rain. Great custom story. Still need to finish it.
