Hello, Frictional Games.
I bought your game in Steam.
And I have a big problem.

After I curtail game (Windows key), the cursor "stiffens" in the left top corner. And everything, anything it is impossible to make. Hardly I opened a task manager to close game.
The same problem with game start. There is a window of settings, the cursor again fades in the left top corner. It is necessary to press the "Windows" button to press the "Start Game" button.

Did you check the troubleshooting guide? Say...Problem I?

You should downgrade to Windows 7. It's better than the new Mac clone called Windows 8.
