Monarchy is a form of government in which sovereignty is actually or nominally embodied in a single individual (the monarch). But I guess most of you know what it is. So do you prefer such a system? If not, post what political ideology is your favorite one and why.
I've never been one to look too much (Not too much as in hardly at all lol) into forms of government, so I don't know too much about many of the in-depth pros, and cons of each one.

As for Monarchy from my own common sense as well as first impressions of the form I have to say I don't like it too much, because ruling so much off of one person is too much to bear. People are generally good in their own fields, and if you stuff all that power into one person you greatly heighten the chances of mistakes being made as opposed to dividing power to individuals who are best at it.
Is the poll some sort of psychological test or something?

Not exactly...
Well, I live in a Constitutional Monarchy (Canada) where most of the power stays in parliament and some is given to the queen. When we make laws, the law requires Royal Descent to sign in it the last stage before the law is in place.

I don't mind living in it though, It has not caused me or anyone I know problems which cause me to not like it.
no.

Now screw your extremely manipulative poll.
No, of course not, monarchy sucks. It's only marginally better than dictatorship.
For those wondering the poll was meant to be hironic.

I generally find monarchy kind of ridiculous and although in a few cases in history it worked "well", this is the exception and not the rule.
I don't like monarchy because Game of Thrones.
No and no.

But, yes.
