I know there are going to be a bunch of you that want to get access to those pretty assets in AMFP to use in your mods.

For steam users, the folder can be found at: Steam\steamapps\common\Machine for Pigs

i dont have this folder in my Amnesia the dark descent folder

It's not in the folder of the original Amnesia. It's in a separate folder as it's a completely new standalone game.

Default: Steam\steamapps\common\Machine for Pigs
nope there is no folder called Machine for Pigs :c

Are you on Steam, and have you installed the game? If so are you certain that you are looking in the file path I provided?
oh i thought you guys were talking about the patch that Amnesia The Dark Descent would get all the assets for free ( someone mentionen this somewhere)

No the assets won't be available for download, but rather an update to some of the engine functions to TDD from AMFP. Assets I believe you will have to go get yourself.

Yeah but the devs immediately shot this down. Launch A Machine for Pigs once and then check your steam folder.
so i have to continue making custom stories for TTD but i first have to wait to let them update the scripts/engine? so i can use some new functions or what? can anyone explain me this noob friendly^^ this would be very nice

The new enemy assets use Autodesk FBX formats while before they were DAE. DAE's are still there but are not optimised for the current version of HPL2.

What we are waiting for is a small update that will allow those with A Machine for Pigs to be able to use the assets. You can open the maps in the level editor but because of the folder structure limitations currently in place, most of the assets in the level will not be there. So what we are waiting for is:

- An update that will allow us to import the FBX file format
- An update that will change the core asset folder from "Amnesia the Dark Descent" to "common" (in the case of steam)
