Check the troubleshooting guides and if they are not helping you, post the hpl.log file and specifications as requested.
This is crap. Brand new game, I crashed 3 times naming my profile. Crashed once getting loaded into the first area and then crashed 3 more times getting into the 2nd area which I still haven't gotten into. This is total crap. This even beats microsofts record for things being bugged on release.
Maybe your computer is experiencing problems and not the game. Don't be so fast to blame. As Jens said above, attach HPL.log file after the crash occurs as mentioned at the troubleshooting guide, Problem X.
I've had similar issues, only I was able to get into the game, and played it. Only then does it crash at the same spot every time I try going into a new map area.
You created a never ending loop pluto.. got me all confused.

I am having the same problem as Daquine. I am able to play the first area but everytime I try to use the door to the next area, the next area loads (or I have to wait on the loading screne), but before I am even able to see the second area aamfp.exe stops working. I dont know if it is a steam issue, a game issue, or if its because my comp. just dosent want to work for that game. Im just letting you know what my problem is so maybe in the future there can be a patch to fix it.
