Hello. I had the character spinning issue but that was solved easily by unplugging my usb gamepad... but also I'm having this issue where the character can only look up and down and not horizontally

Any ideas?

Edit: I'm playing the Steam version

Not sure about the gamepad issue, but until this has been sorted could you do it on a keyboard and mouse? Are you able to rebind the controls?

I have the exact same issue I had a USB controller connected and was spinning so i unplugged it. Then the x axis would not turn. I am also using the steam version and i have 2 monitors in case it might matters.

Have you tested the controller on other games to see if it's not a problem with your controller?

I don't use a controller this is happening with my mouse. I had a controller but I don't want to use it for this game. The controller has some issues with the sticks so I try not to use it

Odd, have you refreshed the game files via steam if you are using it? I think some files may be damaged or sent in an incorrect state.

I'm re-downloading the game now so i will see if that's it.

Edit nothing happened same bug same issue :/

I wanted to register here specifically to relate my experience with this issue.

I had the "spinning mouselook" thing and finally figured out that it had to do with the wireless gamepad I had plugged in. I unplugged it and then got the problem where I could only look up and down.

I eventually got rid of the issue by deleting my profile in the game and starting a new one. I also restarted my PC for good measure but I don't know it that was really needed.

Maybe this will help someone.
