I just combined the sugar, spice, and everything nice to concoct the CHEMICAL X, and then I threw it at the padlock and it broke. I assume the door is supposed to open, but it won't open for me. Am I doing something wrong?

Well shit, I knew it was something about light from the notes but my lantern didn't do anything, and I even was playing around with that lamp before making the concoction... brb, lol...
