Is there a way to load a specific level when Requiem starts? It locks up when loading level 6, as I enter the portal. Is there a command line option to start at a specific level? Anyone know where the save-game files are stored? I wonder if I could edit one of those.

Yup, there sure is!
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Penumbra\Requiem
Open the file "Settings.CFG"
<Map GlobalScript="requiem_global_script.hps" File="level00.dae" StartPos="link01" />
Change the under-lined part of the text to the level you wish to have (Map names can be found in home of requirem\Levels)
It must be a .dae file type!

I was onto that, but in the wrong settings.cfg file (different folder). Also, for additional clarity, you must "start a new game" in the menu, then you'll be taken to the level you chose in settings.cfg.

Wow starting from level6 actually works!! I was getting extreme lag in this level (see other thread) but starting a new game from this level and it's fine! This mean the bug is probably in the savegames.

Uhm... If I start a new game, my collection of "Artifacts" is gone. But I want to complete the damn game with all "Artifacts", cheats anyone?
Well i did it with all the artifacts "WITH THE GIANT PIECE OF LAG"
Took me an extra hour but still...
