7. What do you think producers can do to increase the amount of people that go to the cinema?
Nothing. With the current availability and relative cheapness of high-end home entertainment technology, I don't think cinemas have any advantage over watching films at home, other than perhaps a feeling of "communal enjoyment".

2. 8

3. Thriller, fantasy, horror

4. 1-3 times/year

5. Prices are too high

8. Man of Steel

9. You can always watch the 2D version if you don't like 3D, so I don't think it matters.

10. "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" was in 48 fps, right? To be honest, I didn't like it. It looked way too "real" and smooth. But yeah, it's gonna take over 24 fps.
Just want to let you know Robo, you're the first out of about 12 people to say no on Q9 and agree to Q10.
1. 19

2. 9

3. Horror, drama and thriller

4. Once a month or less, it varies.

5. The prices are usually why I don't go.

5. If there's a home cinema avaliable then I'd rather watch at home. If not then I'd rather watch at the cinema due to the in many cases superior equpiment.

6. Like previous posts: Pro; video and sound quality etc. Con; tickets, the risk of annoying people.

7. Producers? I dunno, make sure to market the movie as much as possible?

8. Avatar. Absolutely gorgeous in 3D at the cinema but almost everything in the movie has been done better in other movies.

9. Yes. Many movies seem to be in 3D because of 3D. If a movie is made in a way that the 3D enhances the experience (like the Hobbit) then I say go for it. But if the 3D is just added in post-production just for the sake of having 3D so they can say "oh we use 3D" I'd rather keep it in 2D because usually this means sacrificing overall video quality.

10. Great. It makes the movie look better so it would be stupid to complain.
