There's this game project I've been following closely for a while and I want to let you guys know about it.

It's called Ether One, it's a puzzle-based exploration and story driven game revolving around the human mind and healing mental illness.

You play as a restorer and your basically trapped in someone's mind and you have to find out about this person to help both you and her. It was Greenlit on Steam a while ago but hasn't had a release date announced.

Story sounds a lot like "To The Moon"!

Quote:You are a Restorer, a gifted individual who is sent into the minds of humans who suffer mental health issues in order to piece together the structures within.

Tasked with restoring the memories of a client named Jean you must explore the depths of her memories in order to rebuild the lost fragments of her life.

Restore her memories. Restore yours.

Yeah, it does a bit.

Why isn't there more excitement for this? It's looking to be an amazing game!
Probably because there have been an overwhelming abundance of indie games lately that explore mental psychology. It's like a fad or something.
I like the art style! but that motion blur...
can't say I care very much about the premise/story though
I will definitely give it a try when it's released, but there are a lot other games I am excited for atm, like "Among the Sleep", "Routine", "Darkwood"- they all looking very promising.
Giving this a bump because of relevant info... RELEASE DATE!

Doesn't mean it's a bad fad.
Plot sound great! I'll check out the trailer ->
Just pre-ordered and got the Deluxe package that comes with it. There is a comic that was included...

This game just got dark.

It's also cheaper to preorder looks about 50% off. God I'm excited for this.
