Anyways what program's a good alternative to writing those .hps files since I'm on a mac?

Do you know how to set textwrangler up so that I can test if scripts work before I run the game?
Geany works as well, Chro- Demonofrog. Not sure if you can test scripts before you run the game, but it's pretty decent.
