So I got a computer for Christmas from my brother and it's case is small so I have little choice in what I'm working with. Oh, and given that i was built up to think the computer was baddassery at its finest i spent money on steam, leaving me with 77$ to reconstruct this.
Ive got a
OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional
CPU Type Intel Pentium 4 630, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)
Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-945GCMX-S2 v6.6 (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x4, 1 PCI-E x16, 2 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN)
Video Card AMD Radeon HD 6450 (1 GB)
Disk Drive WDC WD5000AVDS-63U7B1 (500 GB, SATA-II)
Two 1GB RAM Sticks. Which I upgraded personally to Two 2GB RAM Sticks.
Thoguhts on how i can make this piece of crap able to run anything? At the moment it cannot even run league of legends on all low settings.
I wouldn't even bother if your goal is to build a high-performance gaming computer. Sell the parts or something.

Did you buy it pre-built? Refund it?
Otherwise sell the parts and start from scratch asides from your 4GB RAM and HDD, not sure on Motherboard personally...

Now I'm pissed.
But the pieces aren't worth anything! And i'm stuck on the lowest budget known to man (77$ plus what i MIGHT be able to get for the parts IF anyone would even buy them, probably at half value)
If i could upgrade just two of the parts what would be the best things to do so with? What if just one? Replacing which would most likely get me the best performance? Scuse the amount of knowlegde that i dont have with hardware =P
Graphics and processor, but you probably won't get anything better for $77.
Although, I'm not an expert on Computer configurations.
He hadn't seen the comp in awhile but he thought it would be okay for my uses. He was wrong xD So he said he's pitch in. So graphics and CPU... I'll see what i can do thank you guys for the laughs!
You should probably also upgrade to 7 if you can. Unless you have the xp 64 bit edition software, some games will not be able to run.
First things first, you NEED a better CPU than that to be able to run anything at all. Pentium 4 is a single core CPU which means it is outdated by almost ten years. Although it sounds bad, an ATI 6450 is not the absolute worst thing you could come by (As in it can actually run modern stuff moderately well on very low), so I'd recommend you can stick with that.

So I'd recommend you go look for something from those series that is under $77.
Forget changing the graphics card, because $77 is not enough to make a worthwhile upgrade beyond the CPU, which according to your specs should be prioritized in replacement.
I didn't even know desktops could have less than 4 RAM anymore(Seriously, my 6 year old laptop has 2 GB RAM. wtf). :I
I'd just say, keep it while saving up some money and then sell it when you have almost enough to build a new PC. Much easier than upgrading it.
