I'm quite sure there are already some topics about it, but I cannot find one. So I'm starting a new one. But how do you install a conversion mod on steam version
depends if it's an Isolated fc here is your awnser ;
for example c:\games\Amnesia DROP ALL FILES HERE.
So for an standard isolated fc it's something like this :
1 folder with all importend subfolders.
1 .bat files, for starting up the game. { the batch file has to refer to the amnesia .exe }

Regardless the responsibility lies with the maker of the conversion to include proper install instructions.
