I got this message on ModDB. Anyone ever get a message like it? Think it's a scam?
Lol, Amnesia mods are non for profit anyways because of legal trouble. I would think that although it may or may not be a scam, to not take a chance on it Smile
I figured as much. My mod got an insane boost in traffic (Was number 5 in popularity for a while) after a big let's player started it. Been getting a lot of weird messages since then.
I would expect then some people will try to do some odd tactics, possibly to get their name on your mod as well. With that said, cherish the popularity of it. It means that more people play your mod, and means that you have done well Big Grin
I think hounestly it is bullcrap.
First of all, making money out of a CS \ Mod from Amnesia, is Illigal anyways!
Seconds of all, who is the guy?
Check \ double check who he is.
IF it is true, i am very happy for you can can work with a big guy or company.
But as far as i see...
Making money out of your mod; Says enough for me, because he just don't know anything about Amnesia probly.
Good luck and happy Marki* is playing the mod.
Well I googled his screen name and apparently he's some guy in israel. Also the fact that the account messaging me on ModDB was created....today. Definitely doesn't seem legit.
you could win a free virus if you contact the guy tho
I like the "Biz Inquery" as well. Any business would at least state their business, their place in it, and wouldn't write that. They are more likely to write "A business proposal".

Not to mention it is enquiry, not inquery..
Of course it's scam. Not sure why you needed to ask that. No one is going to give you money for a mod for a game they have no connection with. If you've made a game by yourself and someone is going to contact you from a real studio, they won't do it this shady through a website without any links to a business.
Come on guys, it's just common sense

To be honest I was more curious if anyone else had encountered this. I'm tempted to agree to talk to him just to see when he pounces the eventual "I need your bank number" question, but I'm too busy.
