Full Version: How to use "special" pigs?

Im doing a mod and while working i thought about this:

In amfp, there were special wretches. I mean those who ... are special '-'

Ugh what i mean: How can i place an animated wretch (with sounds?) In a map.
With animated, i mean pigs which are sleeping, playing with blocks or eating.
I think i need to add the sound in by myself...But how?

If i could do that anyhow, that'd be cool.
I do not know much about this, but i remember there being new commands added with the update, which can animate these "manpigs", i can be wrong though.
The updated command list you can find from the aamfp assests update thread.

Oh. I dont know if i can figure out how to use them... pretty new. But i will have a look at patriks thread and test a bit.
Red is correct, though it doesn't look like the animations include those. This is what it said at the bottom of the thread.

ManPig animations

To be sure the ManPig entity type behaves correctly, the entity should have following animations set in its .ent file:
  • IdleBiped
  • IdleBipedExtra1
  • IdleBipedExtra2
  • WalkBiped
  • RunBiped
  • FleeBiped
  • NoticeBiped
  • ThreatLoopBiped
  • AttackBiped1
  • AttackBiped2
  • AttackBiped3
  • BiteBiped
  • ChargeBiped
  • IdleQuadruped
  • IdleQuadrupedExtra1
  • IdleQuadrupedExtra2
  • WalkQuadruped
  • RunQuadruped
  • FleeQuadruped
  • ThreatLoopQuadruped
  • NoticeQuadruped
  • AttackQuadruped1
  • AttackQuadruped2
  • AttackQuadruped3
  • BiteQuadruped
  • ChargeQuadruped

So yeah, I'm afraid I don't know how to do this. It must be possible though. Perhaps the animation is one of these "Extra" ones, but I get the feeling they are just little variations they do at random.
Oh, PlayPropAnimation, that could do the thing, try that.
Hm if i can handle this...
The new scripts are... well new to me. I will try.
Good luck with that, i haven't figured it out yet either.
Mhh... Maybe someone who already did this can help? On the patch thread i dont see anything.
