Does somebody know how I can run a steam game in compatibility mode? When I create a shortcut with right click -> create shortcut, I have no option to run it in this mode. The reason why I ask is because when I run Dead Space (1), I always have the windows mousecurser ingame (
this one), which is really annoying.

You'll have to go into your Steam folder > SteamApps>common> (Game folder).
Right click on the game's executable and click properties > compatibility.
Though I'm not sure that's the problem, did you try defocusing the game, then refocusing the game? (Use alt+tab to minimize game, then bring it back forward.)

Hey, thanks for your suggestion. I also wanted to try it with the .exe in the steam folder, but there is no .exe in the dead space game folder. I will try it with alt+tab when I am back home, but I read on the web, that some people had the same problem and they solved it with the compatibility mode.
Thanks so far, I will let you know if t works with alt+tab.
Okay guys. I have a Crysis 2 Maximum Edition problem.
You see, I left it to download overnight and found out that it installed itself.
But when I run it, it won't launch and gives me the blue loading sign at the cursor.
I did everything. Heck, I even made two threads on two separate places but nothing.

Yes, I've played them all aside from Tactics and BoS.

Are you sure? It's the game application that's needed to run in steam.
EDIT: Does your folder look like this?

Thinking about getting into it for the first time.
Questions:
1. Which is better FO3 or New Vegas?
2. Will it ruin my life because of how good it is?

Ah yeah.. I'm dumb. Looked in the wrong folder.. It works now in the compatibility mode, thank you.
Though I must say the controls of the game suck.. (keyboard + mouse)
