So I decided on a making a huge model in maya for the entire map rather than making separate wall, roof and floor textures. It still needs a lot of work, but I wanted to export as a .dae just to see how it looked. In maya, it renders fine but the .dae is out of whack.

Here's what it looks like rendered in maya. I know, it still needs some work.

Wtf the bottom just like flattened out and the textures are all messed up

I must be doing something wrong with the textures or something but the question is... How can I fix it??
HPL can't deal with too big models, I've had this issue many times myself, you're better of splitting it into parts.
I've already tried exporting three separate parts (top, bottom, and the ice lake). The top exports perfectly fine and so does the ice lake. The bottom is just messed. Even without the top and the lake models, it still flattens out. I'll try cutting it into quarters and see what happens
Delete the first .msh file that is generated, then reopen the model in the Model Viewer.
Try exporting the mesh scaled down and then scale it up in the level editor. Also make sure that scale, rotation and position are freezed.
