Clockwerk

My game keeps crashing and giving me a runtime c++ error. i have tried to reinstall the game twice now and no fix. im new to pc gaming to please dont be to harsh. Does anyone know what the problem could be or how to fix it.
Where did you get the game?
What are your computer specs?

Could you run the game again, and when the error occurs, close Amnesia and attach the hpl.log file. Check the troubleshooting guide at Problem X for the directory location for it.

yes i can run it again

my specs are

3.1 GHz Performance Rated at: 6.51 GHz
13 GB ram
64-bit Windows 8
video card :Intel® HD Graphics 4600
As said and seen in severals other issue about this :
video card :IntelĀ® HD Graphics 4600 Is giving you the problem not able to play.
Intel is NOT supported.
A moderator will explane to you what you can try.
The thing is Lange, it appears to be a C++ error, not a Graphics Card error.

Could you post your hpl.log file like I asked?
If you are using Microsoft Visual C++ libraries, then it can be helpful to update them to the latest version. All you have to do is to search for "Microsoft Visual C++" on google/bing or whichever search engine you're using, and then download the latest version Smile

If that doesn't solve the problem, attaching the hpl.log file as Romulator said is very helpful.

Best regards.
This has nothing to do with the game itself. It's an operating system issue, specifically important Visual C++ libraries are missing. Search google to download them.
