I am wanting to fiddle around with the textures and models, but they are not in the right file formats for these programs. They are in the formats of DAE, ENT, and MAT. Is there a way to change em and open them up in Blender or Unity?
ENT and MAT is only usable in HPL2.
You can open DAE in Blender. Just click File > Import > DAE in Blender.

As for importing to Unity, you could import the DAE and re-export it as another file that is supported by Unity.
QUICK EDIT:
The Textures are DDS, you can open them in GIMP (plugin required).
For Unity, I think the most common model format is .fbx. Amnesia A Machine For Pigs used a few of these as well.
Whoops, posted in the wrong tab! Ignore this.
