*cough* I may or may not have obtained the Fappening....

But honestly I don't care, celebrities will be celebrities, and if they didn't like the attention they wouldn't be celebrities.

Occupational Hazard. Gotta have some thick skin to be a celeb.

...Seriously?

Yes.
I can't sit here and have an opinion because I swear, as soon as I heard about the photos, I browsed 9gag for a while trying to find them. But I was reading through the comments which made me realise the desperation and awe some users and followers of what was happening to be somewhat sickening.

I sat there and just flicked through some of the comments. Some of them as simplistic as "nice tits", others a bit more like "keep them coming!", and yet, there more requests, "Do Victoria Justice next!" or "ariana grande plzzzz." The desperation some people have to see celebrities or figures to be naked only further evidences my opinions of the poor, negligent society we have been exposed to.

Should men be so subject and oblivious to the stupidity which they possess in being objective for pleasure? Why? WHY should they have to seek such amusement from their idols to satisfy themselves, possibly for blackmail or sexual purposes?

It sickened me and I attempted to avoid the news about it since then. Once I heard about it, 24 hours later, I didn't care. To be honest, the whole thing really died down. Sure I saw some pictures, the same I had seen skimming through the contents on some of my school peers today, but I believe in about a week or so, nobody will really care. While pornography can be satisfying, the human brain can only be amused by the same thing a few times.
Some of you may not like this guy, but I think he still has a better idea than most. I figured it'd be relevant.

Yes.

I hope that's sarcasm.
Then it's obvious that a 'discussion' will go nowhere.
I'm sorry that my concern for someone's humiliation has disturbed your ability to seek pleasure from someone else's misfortune to the point where you invoke Godwin's law.
To say people shouldn't be rating them is silly and asking far too much.

People rate other people all the time, clothes or no clothes. And that is actually a useful system for letting people know who you are attracted to.
I agree. Honestly, people say "I won't judge" but you can't stop yourself from judging others. I think it's just that whenever someone mentions "judge" everyone thinks "judge as bad." You always judge people; if they're being nice, if they're being bad, if they're not doing anything at all or trying their best to help. Any time you get an impression of someone, you've already judged them. Judge shouldn't be considered such a negative word though, cause most of the time you probably judge them as good people. Okay, maybe not so much on the Internet, but yeah.

Rating people might be harsh sometimes, but if that's what people honestly think and aren't just rating someone poorly because they have subjectional views on them, then it's better to get the cold truth than a false sense of insurance. It's like Tinder. The only problem is that people are more likely to judge harshly over the Internet because #nofear.

enough with sjw bullshit

Of all VaeVictis' posts, you choose to label that as SJW?
so wait

im confused

why is it that having moral standards is now labelled as 'social justice warrior' on the internet, like they're some kind of try-hard for actually thinking of people other than themselves?
On the topic of judging...I believe that there is good judging which is done in good taste, and is constructive towards creating a happier world overall. This sort of thing is the type of judging that can be worded so that one is even able to say them directly to the person being judged without it being something offensive to them as long as they have the common sense to take it.

Then there's another type of "judging" which is done purely for amusement, and done in extremely bad taste. This most commonly known form of this is making fun of other people in a non-ok way which is degrading to them.

It is way WAY too much to ask for the second type of judging to never show up, because it is seen in everyday life, and friends do it among themselves all the time usually in the form of gossip. But still.
