Hi everyone,

Just seen the new patch has been released along with more support for FBX etc. Does this mean we still have to use open collada? Just wondering if anyone can explain what this update means in regards to ease of exporting models and animation.
No more collada needed, you can now export meshes and animations in FBX format! Happy modeling.

Awesome, does this change how the animations have to be exported and imported (as in having to use a very specific method of animating in Maya)? Acies video helped me a lot in that department but it was still pretty tricky from what I remember. Feeling the itch to create something cool again!
The workflow should be the exact same! Been a while since I dabbled with any animation for HPL ( Been since the development of amfp so.. Yeh a while )

But it should be the same thing, only with FBX files this time around, and less problems seeing as FBX is nowhere near as much of a turd as collada!
