Hearing that some people did not like commenting in the blog, we are going to start creating threads here for each new blog post and see how it goes.

I say that puzzles do make a big part in horror games, if done right that is. The problem in Penumbra was that the physics puzzles could have been more complex, most of the puzzles were like the good old HL2 physics puzzles. Nothing wrong with those but they are getting a little too old, maybe you could have taken an extra step? And try making something new even though it might have been risky?

One thing that I miss, which could've been really, really cool: climbing ropes.
A skinny English professor climbing ropes would be entertaining but unlikely.
