I have a physical copy of the game, and I was able to play it before on this computer. However, every time I try to start it up, a warning comes up saying FATAL ERROR: RENDERER #0 COULD NOT BE INITIALIZED.
I've tried updating my driver, Intel HD Graphics, but to no avail.
I'd guess that you might be missing some Visual C++ Redistributables. I think you can get them from Windows Update? Seeing as they are redistributable, they might come with Amnesia, though I'm unsure. Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Either unsupported graphics card or very old drivers. Attach HPL.log after the issue occurs as said at the Troubleshooting Guide, Problem X.
You have a very old IntelHD driver installed. Follow the guide here in tech support on how to update the driver and then maybe the game will work.

What version do I need to download? My card only says that it's INtel HD.
