Sooo it's been a while since that thread and I was wondering if the mystery of the padlock in Overture has since been solved.

If it's just a gag to make us break our brains over its purpose, well, at least for me that's working perfectly fine, since I'm about to start my third 'attach padlock to everything' playthrough.

So if somebody knows what it's for they'd better tell me before I get to the 'attach padlock to giant earthworm' part.

One word: Nothing. :

Now that's just devastating. *sigh* I think I'll have to keep trying to attach it to attacking zombie dogs, just to keep up the illusion. Anyway, thank you for the reply!
