Just out of curiosity, what made you decide against having EMPs?

So, there is a hope for some of us to play with EMP's.
Play fair.
Each to their own. The main experience of the game is unchanged.
Personally, I don't want to see them either.

If he really wants, maybe he can mod it. But I just don't think it'll fit SOMA.
Similar to discussions on conciousness here, what does and does not fit in SOMA is subjective to the individual
On a personal level, I agree though.
Frictional Games posted this:
Quote:Time for another philosophical musing, so you can prepare your brain for SOMA:
If you replace a single braincell with a silicon chip, do you become a
robot? Most would say no.
But keep turning brain cells into chips.1% of the brain. 2%, and so forth.
Soon your half of your brain will be made out of silicon, and eventually
all of it will.
At what point do you stop being you?
I think that in the moment when I put in my brain something that changes the way I'm thinking/living/behaving, I stop being who I am! Even the smallest chip will change the way I'm thinking and the way I'm feeling. For my opinion, this is absolutely not being me.

What if it was a
brain implant to help someone overcome the loss of a function caused by a stroke or head injury, or simply to allow a deaf or blind person to hear/see? Would that change your perspective?
I'll use 50% (the silicon side)for fast calculation and 50% (the brain side) for contemplation.
That reminds me on Human brain project and research for simulation of brain's information processing in future CPU and other things.
