I had a hard enough time pronouncing your name, and now you change it on me?

I hope so, that would actually be really cool.
A sane one this time around?

Speaking of which, do you folks suppose the insanity mechanic will reappear?
I kind of liked the reveal. Sure the production quality was b movie meh, but by the same token it had charm. FG is a game developer and this is their first live action kind of thing. I'm stoked for the next couple of reveals. Looks like 7 more to go!

Unless they're making Amnesia: 3240 I don't think all of their next games are going to have the same features as Amnesia.

Don't be so snotty - these guys aren't The Chinese Room. They're the guys who made Penumbra and Amnesia 1. It's a valid question.
Out of pure statistics, then no. Amnesia is the only one of their games with a sanity mechanism. The Penumbra games didn't have it. And if it is implemented, I really hope it isn't like Amnesia. It should be used for when seeing disturbing things, like in the Call of Cthulhu game, not just for sitting in darkness, especially if hiding in darkness is a main part of the gameplay

One thing I'm wondering is if there's going to be any form of combat. I don't mind no combat but depending on how the game plays it might be nice to have some combat at certain points in the game. Of course any of this talking about gameplay is pretty useless when we don't know anything about how the game will play.
I don't know if anyone has noticed this but if the file and video are going for an 'SCP' style approach, then the name of the object is Vivarium.

A vivarium is "A place, especially an indoor enclosure, for keeping and raising living animals and plants under natural conditions for observation or research".

I don't know about you guys but that TV just got 100x creepier.
As said, at least two of the broken text seem to say "[CORRUPTED DATA]". corrupt-2 definitely. corrupt-3 as well, just the top layer of pixels is slightly offset. I think corrupt-4 possibly... when reversed, I definitely see an R and a T, but not sure. corrupt-1 seems to look like it.
I think, or to better say I hope, this thing will be a ten times more bastard than HAL 9000 Smile
