I don't think what happened to TCR has any bearing on Frictional Games. If anything, I hope they remain a PC-exclusive - I think 'console elitism' is moronic, but developing a game for multiple consoles forces the dev team to cut corners.

Why not? They're both small indie devs who could use more funds to make better games. It's clear that Frictional have already been approached by Sony, just like TCR were, and we're yet to find out what the outcome of that is, besides that this new game will be coming to the PS4.

So, since it's already coming to PS4 as mentioned above, you're saying that we'll either get a game that has had corners cut since it's developed for more than one platform, or they'll make the game they wanted to make and it'll be for PS4 only?
I hope you're wrong!
Hopefully it's like with Outlast, where it's PC primarly and later on PS4.
It's so depressing when we have to hope that there'll be a PC version of a PC developers PC game.
I'm quite sure this game will be the scariest thing I've ever experienced
but I started wondering what's going to be so scary about it? In case it's about computers and A.I. and stuff like that doesn't really sound too scary. Are there going to be monsters? Etc ..
I just wish everyone would stop talking about whether this is coming out on PC or not. Sure it will come to PS4, why would they tweet about it otherwise? But I have no worries in my mind that Frictional would betray their loyal PC gamer fans just for a bigger sack of cash. They don't need PS4 to steal it to make a profit like TCR do, I mean they have already had a hugely successful game. If they made it PS4 exclusive that would be the biggest slap in the face ever and I don't think frictional would do that since the PC market is how they got to where they are now. So let's no longer worry. They will announce it for PC, we must patient.
There's not even any information yet on the consoles it's being released on so there's no logical reason to talk about it. Can we talk about something related to the actual game?
