Welp, I've not actually attempted to make it work myself, so I don't really know how it works. I figured some parts were within the same entity, and that it might be easier to control them by splitting the model into several, then have them enable/disable at appropriate times with similar entities that work differently.

Kinda like moving a bookshelf forwards, then sideways. You have to swap the bookcase entity with another that uses another axis. At least that's how you had to do it before. 1.3 might have a better method.
