Full Version: Penumbra Writer Seeks Volunteer Game Testers

Hello everybody,

Some of you may recognise me as the narrative designer on the Penumbra games.

I'm currently working on a small hobby project - a short, text-based game featuring a unique logic puzzle format - and I'm looking for a few enthusiastic volunteer testers.

The game itself plays with themes you might find familiar from Black Plague, and shouldn't take more than half an hour to play, so it's no great commitment. Because it's 'just for fun' there's no cash involved, but I can promise you a credit if / when I put the game online.

The only requirement is that, because the puzzle mechanic is based around language, you are either a native English speaker, or have an excellent standard of English.

If you'd like to get involved drop me a line at beta[at]tomjubert[dot]com, and tell me in a short paragraph something (anything) about you and games.

Cheers,

Tom Jubert
Do want

I'll send later
I'll send ASAP, sounds fun-ish Smile
Swedish, but I've never had to study for a single english test and I'm still class best by far and years ahead.
Hi all,

The game's now been through first round feedback, and is close to completion.

If anyone would like to volunteer to be part of the final round testing, please give me a shout!

Cheers,

TJ
Raised in America, so is it alright if I speak American instead of english? I'm a tad used to beta-testing small games(largely in Warcraft3).

Vista 64bit
gtx 260
AMD Phenom x4 9550 quad core
6gigs of ram

(And yes, I know American is not a language..)
Actually I think it's released now? Mind linking to the Gamespot thread or whatever?
Tried looking for it with my iPhone earlier, but always when you try to enter *any* Gamespot page from an iPhone you get redirected to iphone.gamespot.com so it's impossible to Google your way onto any Gamespot page on an iPhone >Sad
Yup, game is now out!
