Uneven footsteps slowly edging closer. The friction of flesh skimming along the metal hull. Air throbbing with absolute silence. You are not alone in PATHOS-II.

The radio is dead, food is running out, and the machines have started to think they are people. Underwater facility PATHOS-II has suffered an intolerable isolation and we’re going to have to make some tough decisions. What can be done? What makes sense? What is left to fight for?

From Frictional Games, creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, SOMA is a sci-fi horror game that questions our concepts of identity, consciousness, and what it means to be human.

SOMA is coming September 22nd to PC and PS4. Visit the Frictional Games blog for a deeper, behind-the-scenes look at the creatures of SOMA.

This trailer is a masterpiece, Jens.

You have done really well with this one.
Oh my god, I'm so hyped right now.
Amnesia was scary with 2.5 monsters, SOMA has like what, 8+ already shown? *sobs in a corner*
Yeah, those monsters and the noises they are making are pure nightmare fuel. I'm so glad we're not seeing them super up close and personal and making out every detail of them like the Pigmen from A Machine from Pigs.

The more Horror remains in the shadows and unseen the more effective it is. Smile
At this point I feel like I would be spoilering myself, so I didn't watch the trailer. Will probably do that after I have played through SOMA. Actually already preordered it. The first time I have preordered anything and one of the very few times where I get something for full price. :-) I would have gotten Pillars of Eternity, but with such a big backlog getting a game of that size for it to then just lie around, would have felt a little silly. SOMAs release price felt fair and aside from it not being a long game, I have been reading blog posts, Interviews and such and I guess I may be a bit of a Frictional-fanboy by now ;-)
