A couple of days ago when I bought Amnesia, there was nothing wrong with it.
But today, I've got the error: Failed to load config file.
Can anyone help me with this error? I've tried to search for solutions on the forums(while the threads were closed already) but didn't understand them well.
Please, someone help me!

Try to verify your game integrity, if you got it on Steam.
Otherwise, make sure there are no launch options set, as this will override the default path for the config.
Try to show a screenshot of the message. The log doesn't seem to contain anything.
Alright I'm sorry for my weird actions with replying.
You can try deleting your Amnesia directory located in Documents. WARNING: Doing so will also delete your saves, so I recommend making a backup in case it doesn't fix it. You can for example rename the "Amnesia" folder to "Amnesia2".
Someone else had this issue resolved by completely reinstalling the game, rather than verify it. Could be an option to try. Though, they had modded their game. I assume you have not?
Reinstalled but didn't solve the problem.
When i deleted my Amnesia directory it worked, for just 5 minutes. I had to restart amnesia(for graphical stuff) and when I restarted it again, I had the same message 'failed to load config file'
Then we've at least pinpointed the issue. Hmm..
Could you post the contents of your main_settings.cfg in the Documents location?
what do you mean with 'contents'?

Im trying to find some kind of text, but there isn't any text(not even in the notepad)
Or am I just doing something wrong?
