It crashes on OSX.
Log attached.
Seems you are missing files or that the game can not access the files. Is there a way to verify the game install when you get a game on GOG? Is this the installer or through galaxy?
It is a .dmg file, size 10GB.
MD5 (soma_2.1.0.3.dmg) = e9bbf978c13fd182c9d54883089dff1d

Mounted takes 19GB.

I'll have to ask GOG for a copy of it so I can test it. I'll update you as soon as I can.
I get the same issue with a Galaxy version.

FWIW, this is OS X 10.11.1 (15B17c).
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012).
I'm still downloading my copy so have not had a chance to test yet.

Have not tested the game on 10.11, but porter runs 10.11 so that should not be a problem.

Can confirm that there is something wrong with the soma_2.1.0.3.dmg, it seems to be missing files or have some permission problem/can't find the files properly. I've asked GOG to look into it so hopefully this can be resolved tomorrow.

Yea and not only me. And the Support from GOG is SHIT! Never saw smth like that.

They closed my ticket with the reason that I didnt sent them the information via the support ticket. I did that, made a whole system log and everything and they just say "we need more information" wtf?

I want my money back now and hope they do it.
