Have the same issue on iMAC Retinak 5k, Mid 2015 with AMD R9 M290 Sad

Same problem, Radeon R9 M370X.

The water was unnatural since the first level of the game (in kitchen sink). Then game crashed after flood-scene, all the same.

Hope this will be fixed, really liked the game...

Similar on my MBP 2015 AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

- did not crash, but got the same visuals as posted above. We followed above instructions, but got the same pop-in and the atmospheric effects underwater are still really unreliable and often reveal objects popping in.

Really hope this gets patched! We're playing it anyway because we can't get enough but we'd love to appreciate it as-intended.

Same issue here – Mac Pro, AMD FirePro D300 2048 MB, running Yosemite 10.10.5
I would like to report that I have the same exact problem with a Macbook Pro Retina 15" 2015. Room floods, and flat textures appear. Like with the screenshots above.
I can confirm for now, that renaming the Undergrowth folder in SOMA to _Undergrowth does in fact work in the flooding room.

Rename the undergrowth folder in the game folder to _undergrowth. This will disable rendering of the terrain vegetation (which it looks like is the problem)

Thank you so much! fix it on Mac Pro 2010 with AMD Radeon HD 7950 Mac Edition!
