Everything was going great in the first hour and a half into the game until I got to a part in the game where the facility collapses and you are submerged underwater. After that I got a lot of graphical glitches, weird textures popping in and out, and it was basically unplayable. The game did not crash but I had to quit since it was basically impossible to move, the game would freeze intermittently. Immediately after quitting the game my system locked up (spinning beachball) and I was forced to hard reboot.

PS I tried to attach the log file directly to this post but it told me the file was too large, so here is a direct link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60341/hpl.log

Here are a few screenshots:

This is probably a driver issue with this particular AMD graphics card, I'll let the porter know and hopefully he can work on a solution.
You could try a temporary manual solution if you would like
Rename the undergrowth folder in the game folder to _undergrowth. This will disable rendering of the terrain vegetation (which it looks like is the problem)
Thanks that worked. One other thing I noticed is that sometimes the ocean atmosphere blinks light and dark really quickly when looking at certain areas.

I would like to report that I have an identical (or at least very similar) issue on a 2015 15" retina macbook pro with the AMD M370X. The temporary solution also works for me, and I am also experiencing the flickering dark atmosphere bug.
Another thing I've found is that all of the water textures are completely flat like this and tend to flicker a lot when looking around.

Echoing that on a 2015 macbook pro with the AMD R9. Really frustrating, as it's a gamebreaking glitch that causes that section to be unplayable... Moving at about 1 frame every 5 seconds.

This is right after another potentially gamebreaking glitch I encountered 15 minutes earlier. Mac version seems to have LOADS of issues.

Having the exact same graphical issues on an IMac (AMD Radeon R9 M290X) : flat water textures, visual glitches making the game unplayable when we get submerged.
Here's hoping for a quick solution, I was really getting into it :/
