Hi! I don't know why but I have massive fps drops in this game. It runs smoothly at 60 fps but when I turn around or walk into some direction fps drops to 19 fps. Any solution?
my specs: i5 4460, 8GB ram, R7 265 2GB, SSD and HDD. I tried both on windows 8.1 and windows 10, video drivers 15.7.1 and latest 15.8 beta drivers.

Is the v-sync turned on?
Yes is on by default.

I just played with video settings and I managed to make it work smoothly.
Vsynch on ( without vsynch I have strange lines on screen when moving), refresh rate 60, antialising FXAA, depth of field - medium, ssao and bloom - off, texture quality - medium, texture filter - trilinear, shadow quality - low, refraction and reflexion - off. It runs at 60 fps constantly. If I change one of this settings to a higher option, fps drops returns. I can play GTA V on high settings without fps drops on my pc.

Glad you fixed it Smile
Still I want to play this on High settings. Frictional games please make a patch, I'm not the only one with this issue.
I'm also experiencing a similar problem: random fps drops from 60 to around 20/30, even on low settings and 900p resolution. I have 860m and i7-4710HQ.
I managed to partially fix this. The good solution is to turn off v-sync in the game settings and turn it on via control panel of the graphic card's driver. No screen tearing (horizontal lines) and smaller FPS drops after that. However, the current drops are still annoying.
How to turn vsynch on via AMD control panel?

Frictiiionaaaalll Gaaaameeessss why don't you answer on this topic?
Check the system control panel, search for AMD or graphics and you should see something called catalyst center (I think) or something with amd control panel. Then in that program uyou should find an option to control various settings, including v-sync.
I had everything turned up to maximum and I was getting some irritating stuttering in certain areas. I'm only using a GTX 750 Ti, though I have a Core i7 3750 and 32GB of RAM, and I'm running SOMA from an SSD (I tried it on a hard drive first; the SSD is far superior). But once I turned off SSAO, I found SOMA ran very well, with no stuttering so far.
