Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

Hi, I can't get Soma to start up on my Pc. I downloaded it through steam and I have already tried everything in the troubleshooting forum, uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice and uninstalled and reinstalled Net framework 4.5.2. On trying to start SOMA no window opens although steam says for about three seconds that I am playing the game before then saying that I am no longer playing the game. No error message appears. None of these worked, any idea what else I can try?

Are you running a 64-bit system?

Do you have a hpl.log file in Documents/My Games/SOMA? If so can you post it please.

It doesn't matter anymore thanks, today steam thought it would download some of setup files which it didn't do before and now it works completely fine. Thanks for the help anyway
