Hello.
I'm having some trouble running SOMA properly. The game keeps crashing, as simple as that. I have not gone very far, but it happens often when I interact with something, a button or a document, etc. The game also crashed once when I entered a new room.
Here are my specs:
GeForce GTX 560ti
AMD Phenom II X4 960T
8gig RAM
My graphics card drivers are up to date.

I am really enjoying the game, as far as I can play it. I hope I can resolve this.
Oops, forgot to register first! My bad.
I also wanted to add that I am running Windows 7 x64 and added hpl.log.
I have tried several graphics settings, including the auto-detect and everything off, the game still crashes.

Runs smooth on my Win7 SP1 x64 system.
Do you have properly installed all needed Redists like DirectX, .NetFramework, etc.

Hi, thanks for the answer. Everything installed through steam, so yeah I think so.
It looks like it has trouble reading some files. Try running Soma.exe as Administrator
If that doesnt work you can right click SOMA in steam and select Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache and see if there are some files missing

Hi, thank you for your answer! I'm afraid this did not help, and Steam files verification returned 100% valid files. The game keeps crashing (most recent was when
, even though I went further before).
My game is crashing too but in some particular cutscenes, sometimes. I went to options and switched everything to off, textures low and went windowed mode. Somehow the game continues after that and then i switched to my options and continued playing. Try doing something with the game settings, it may help.
Hm, after some more tests, it seems to happen a lot more when I run with High texture. Weird because I don't drop fps more than when I use Medium.
Yeah, i think it's something with textures or something. I just skipped the part where my game crashes when i switched everything to low and now i switch to high again, cuz theres no way i'm not finishing this game.
