Hi guys,

I have a problem with SOMA that prevents me from loading any save games.

After the load-screen when selecting "continue" I get a Windows popup saying "Soma.exe has stopped working"

Tried;

*Opening SOMA.exe as administrator, did not work.
*Opening SOMA trough Steam, did not work.
*Opening SOMA_NoSteam as administrator (but then I see no savegames?)
*Checked file integrity of the game via Steam , everything was ok.
*Tried loading an older savegame, did not work.

Can you please help? I love the game but this is very frustrating, I was pretty far!

Everything WAS working perfectly.

This is exactly my problem as well! Played 2 hours in first session... tried to load it back up tonight and crashes on "continue" after the load bar finishes.

What happens with a new game?

A new game works just fine!

(But I'm 7 hours in the game already, don't want to start over!)

OK and loading any, I mean any as in from an earlier level than the last save, crashes the game?

Hey! It seems all Lambda savegames are not working, but Upsilon savegames ARE loading!



How can that be? What should I do differently in Lambda to prevent the same issue again?

Sorry about this but yes others have reported this and are trying to find the cause of why it happens.

I guess I will just have to start from Upsilon again! :-)

I'm off uploading my brain to Soma again! XD

I also have this bug near and in Lambda. Then I loaded a previous save and played Lambda through in one piece. There's definitely something wrong with the save files in this location.
