My overall memory usage sits flat around 7.5GB when I run the game. The game itself doesn't rise above 1.5GB used. Nothing out of the ordinary happens to the graph when the game crashes. It's idle, then upon crash drops back down to the idle memory usage of my system.
Can u pls try something... its not final but pls turn the textures down to the lowest level and test how it works. I dont know if u tried that yet sry if u have already :c

Yes, I tried lowering settings, yes, I tried running in the lowest possible resolution, yes I tried having different VSyncs on or Off. Crash, crash & crash.
Ok thats odd. I assume that this isnt a game problem at all. Has only SOMA these weird errors?

Yes. I've not had any other game crash on me for a very, very long time. Have no other games crash on me currently either, except for SOMA.

Other games I'm currently playing are: Guild Wars 2, Smite, Mad Max, Minecraft, Elite: Dangerous.

All run perfectly, without so much as a peep.
Hello. My game is gettin crush in the same place all the time. There is my hpl folder so check it out. I have done everything to make it work but it doesnt...
For crash in a level: In steam right-click soma, pick properties, go to beta tab and activate the public_beta. Let steam download and then run the game.

For crash on start: Do the same as above. But also 1. make sure your drivers are up-to-date for graphics card by downloading the latest from amd.com or nvidia.com and installing them. 2. In steam right-click on SOMA, pick properties, go to local files, pick browse local files. Open the _CommonRedist (or something similar) and run the three installers there. Then try to start the game.

I'm sorry but this does not help GOG users. There is no "public_beta" on GOG.
We are in final stages of testing the patch on PC. Should arrive on GOG Monday!
