Thanks! Your help is appreciated! I hope this can be resolved.
Could you post the hpl.log file located in Documents\Amnesia\Main? Does the issue happen if you start a new game? You could try loading an earlier save from the autosaves in the Load menu.

Sure. This doesn't happen when I start a new game. I tried loading a new game just now and it gave me a box that said "FATAL ERROR, could not load world file."

Heres the log file: [Image: 12059545_1066005383410196_2130925962_o.j...e=5608703D]

Thanks
Without too much experience with loading saves, I would guess it is corrupted somehow. Could you try loading an earlier save from a room or two before?

Yea I just loaded a previous autosave file, the same error.
Since it doesn't happen when you start a new game, it's definitely the save that is the issue. Try loading even older saves and see how far back you must go before it works. It could at least pinpoint where things went wrong.

Thanks! I ended up loosing like an hour of gameplay by loading an older file, but I guess its better than loosing everything!
