Looks like MSVS redist issue, you need to install latest redist packages clean way.

I have uninstalled and downloaded all the x64 packages. It still doesn't work.

I did it "Properly" and it still doesn't work.

I used dependency checker and traced the problem to the following DLL's
API-MS-WIN-CORE-KERNEL32-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-PRIVATEPROFILE-L1-1-1.DLL
API-MS-WIN-SERVICE-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL
MSVCR80.DLL
API-MS-WIN-CORE-SHUTDOWN-L1-1-1.DLL
EXT-MS-WIN-NTUSER-UICONTEXT-EXT-L1-1-0.DLL
IESHIMS.DLL

Any ideas where I can get those?
Does the game starts if you try to run SOMA_NoSteam.exe from Steam/steamapps/common/SOMA/ ?

It should not require MSVCR80.DLL, only the 10x ones which is part of MSVC++ 2010 redist, the one SOMA uses. So I assume it is the junk Steam drags with its integration. Messy.

Nope. It still returns the same dll errors.
Unpack these files into game directory and try again:

Still gives 0xc000007b?
