I'm at Theta, the submarine just went into the water and I'm about to go into an air vent. I have to jump down, and when I'm jumping down in the air vent, my game just freezes and it closes. I got the issue both on my laptop and desktop. Both of them have updated drivers.

The thing is, before I went in the air vent, I closed down the computer to sleep and it saved from the spot i was before. The next day I copied the save files to my desktop via OneDrive. Whatever I do, even if I go back to older saves, it won't let me get trough that air vent, and it pisses me off.

Desktop: GTX 980 i5

Laptop: GTX 970m i7

Both of them have great 60 fps performance.

PS. I even tried to take all the graphics settings to lowest and 720P screen, but without fixing the issue.

Please help!

Is the game from GOG or Steam?

It is from GOG

I beleive this is fixed and we will be sending the patch to GOG today, only a little left to check before we pack it up. If you can't wait I think if you reload a save from the previous level you can get through this part as the crash is random and determined if it will crash or not on the first load of the level.

Can you tell when the patch will be rolled out? I most likely wont go back, since the part before is really scary

I'm currently preparing the links for GOG. So fairly certain the files will go up during the day.

I got trough the air vents now. I went 20 minutes back and i got it working. Thanks alot! But i still hope for the update though

in THETA , Just jumped down from the air vent and Crashed to Desktop. mine is steam version. any solution?

Hi there ! can you please give us the 'air vent fix' update link? i'm crashing on air vent !!

Make sure you run the 1.02 version of the game and if needed replay using a save from the previous level.
