I finished the area where you enter Omicron via the scaffolding outside and whenever you look down into the abyss, the FOV zooms in and enables the trails visual effect.

I entered Omicron backwards and looking down into the abyss or something, because Omicron was completely blurry my entire play through it. How can I disable the motion blur effect? My save file is contaminated with it and changing video effects does nothing, even the color separation and distortion effects.

Help!
I'm sure you mean depth-of-field and not motion blur. I think it fits very well into underwater locations and there is no way to disable it. Or maybe you have to find a "healing station".

Perhaps I explained incorrectly.

I meant image trails, which make me see double vision whenever I turn the camera any which way. Depth of field is lovely and I enjoy its use in the game, but that's not what I meant to say.

Ah okay, normally you should br able to disable it by turning off color disortion. Or you find a healing station. You also can try to manual edit user_settings.cfg and disable this effect.

Hello again!

Healing stations do nothing, unfortunately, and turning off color separation or video distortion does nothing. I've also deleted my settings.cfg file and it's still enabled. It's definitely something with the save file, but I can't edit it.

Yo! I've got this issue as well!

I'm putting off finishing the game until this is fixed. It's incredibly distracting.
How about loading the last save from before entering 3.2?
We are working on a fix for this! Meanwhile this should stop after you have finished the elevator ride. But I would suggest to just reload an earlier save instead.

The elevator ride down to Tau? If that's the one, it's still going for me.

I read about reloading a previous save after I had gone through Omicron, and I'd rather not go through there again. I'd rather wait out for a patch. Got an ETA on that, by chance?

Thanks for the reply!
Afraid that a patch will not fix this, the only way to get rid of this is to load a previous save I'm afraid.

The patch will only fix getting this in the first place.
