Every time i start up the editor it will show a black screen and then stop respond and it crashes.
Give it some time. Does it crash on its own without you clicking in it? The LevelEditor does take a long time to boot, at least the first few times. It normally takes me about 2-4 minutes. If you click in the window while it's loading, Windows will assume it has crashed.
I think Luis is working on making this process easier by adding a progress feedback dialog.
