Well I can't really call any of the games ''the best''. I loved them both, Red and Clarance are my favorite videogame characters! (I guess Clarence is arguably a character, since he's in Philip's head and all) But gun to my head, it would be Black Plague because I like those abandoned corridors more than mineshafts Tongue
It's possible to rotate items in BP? How? They automatically rotated when needed...
I love "Penumbra: Im Halbschatten" (german title for Overture).
I bought the game 2 times from here:
http://www.amazon.de/Penumbra-Im-Halbsch...765&sr=8-1

This is absolutely the best game of all.
No other Penumbra and no Amnesia is better.
I think that Overture wasn't as good as Black Plague because the puzzles in Black Plague
where more varied than in Overture.

Exactly the opposite is the case.
Overture has more puzzles and they are more tricky.
Black Plague is scary, but the game has barely thoughtful puzzles.

And I love a game with puzzles and much ideas, so I find Overture was the best.
To me, BP was more scary due to all the corridoors and naked men trying to kill you that were running around.
To me, Overture had a superior storyline and I liked the wolves. I don't know, it just seemed slightly more realistic to me, to be trapped in an underground cave/mining industry rather than awakening inside some massive secret complex underground. Overture was less scary in my mind, but certainly had a fantastic atmosphere and the puzzles were fun for me.

Thats just me though, and both games are fantastic in my eyes.
Black Plague is scarier than Overture.
