Its also possible to make a mods folder yourself in the SOMA root folder, and launch mods from it.

So modlauncher runs custom stories and "add ons-mode" for SOMA. I tried to subscribe on steam workshop for "[DEVELOPER TEST] Small custom campaign". Not exactly sure where that/those files went since there wasn't really anything happening when i pressed it...
Are the contents in Developer test suppose to go in the mods folder? Because i can't seem to find the files to get in there then.

By default, all SOMA Steam Workshop mods will download to here:
If the default directory is not the same for your computer, navigate to where Steam is downloaded to and you should be able to locate the directory from there.
