I always got worried and annoyed about how fast some subtitles got fade out in SOMA. There is no time to read and everytime I thought I miss some important story content.

Now I made a video where I can look better what the subtitles are saying just by pausing the video. And I noticed that there is no "missed" content, but the subtitles are flickering (fade out and in for milliseconds) during various dialogs in the game. That is really annoying, because you often think you miss something.

I skipped around and I don't see it as quite an issue. However I have noticed myself that sometimes, the next subtitle to show up will flicker once after the first is done, before scrolling normally.
