Believing in something else is not directly anti-christ.
What I mean is, I guess they see Christ as a bad figure, and they may have their reasons for it.

Upside down crosses are so clichéd, the only people who think their scary or still even use them are 4th graders. Come up with an original symbol with your demonic stuff. It's probably because I watched more horror movies and ones dealing with demonic stuff (mainly Satan/Devil) that feature those clichés. Example: The Omen(1976) just shoves the whole 666's down your throat rather doing it subtly like in Rosemary's Baby which focuses the same subject matter (The Anti-Christ) but in my opinion does It far more better and less campy.
