Thanks for the wonderful game that is Penumbra and I eagerly look forward to Amnesia; I really appreciate that you've developed your games for Linux as well Smile.

I purchased the Penumbra Collection last year during the £5 sale.

I've recently formatted my PC, I still have the original PenumbraCollection-1.0.sh file but I can't seem to find a record of my serial number anywhere.

I can provide details of my e-mail address, payment card, etc to Frictional Games if they can track down a record of my payment and reissue me my serial number but I couldn't find suitable contact details on the website... any suggestions?
I've resent the original email receipt to your email, that should do it. Please make sure to save it safely.
Brilliant, I don't know how I managed to loose it all my e-mails are filed going back years.

Regardless, thanks loads, brilliant service Smile.

I will preorder Amnesia as soon as I've finished replaying Penumbra Smile

Thank you Jens.
Hi,
Similar to Pringle9984 , I really appreciate that you developed this game for gnu/Linux as well.
I have the following problem:
I bought on July/09 the Penumbra Collection under the $5 special that was back them. I just formated my computer, and it looked like I had my activation code and everything, but in the moment of executing the installer, I received a MD5 checksum error. For this reason I wanted to know if there is a procedure i can follow to have a re-download the file.

THanks for the attention given to this message and thanks in advance for the help provided.

regards,

jaom7
You have to send me a pm with some details about what name and email you used when buying the game so that I can dig it up!
Thanks for the intention Jens, but it luckily I could fix it. Looking deeply on some DVDs I found one were I made a backup of the game. I tried to install it and it worked Big Grin .

Right now I have to see how to fix some problem related to:
ALSA lib pcm.c:2171Sadsnd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so

which doesnt let the game start.

Thanks again.. and keep bringing those good titles for gnu/linux
pulse audio strikes again.

Looks like you alsa system is configured to use pulse which isn't installed.. OR pulse is just "confused". See many threads about sound and pulse audio.. You might try removing the libopenal from the lib folder in the game install and installing OpenAL soft from your distribution.
