Have you listened to Drumming?
As a matter of fact I have. Though I haven't listened to the whole thing... or at least I don't fully recall parts of it.

Steve Reich and John Adams have been on my favorite composers since I was little :3 probably due to the fact my mother is a music teacher Smile

Always pictured their music as tiny organisms evolving over time. loved to listen to them when I was on a 3 hour trip to my grandmother's house, on my parent's car laying down in the back sit watching other cars and trees passing by. man the nostalgia is flowing to me right now >U<

Haha, that's awesome. Indeed, that's one of the main appeals of minimalism IMO. Do you play an instrument yourself/compose/whatever?

EDIT: I saw Drumming live once, one of the most exciting concert-going experiences I've had. Seriously impressive, both the composition and the performance I saw. Once I see Music for 18 Musicians (which is easily his best IMO) my life will be complete.
